LISA MARIE PANAGOS

Award winning Mediterranean beauty Lisa Marie Panagos is an American actress and singersongwriter. Although born in Maryland in the U.S.A, Lisa possesses a unique array of exotic heredities which can only descend from the mystical country of Greece.

Her hit international dance single ‘Mind’s Eye’, which was also mixed at the world famous Studio 54, has not only made the Top 5 on the DJ charts but has also earned her ‘Music Video of the Year Award’, ‘Electronica/Dance Artist of the Year Award’ and ‘Outstanding Debut Release’ award at the prestigious 22nd Annual Los Angeles Music Awards 2012.

During the course of her all-embracing acting, music and recording career Lisa has worked with some of the music industry’s biggest producers, re-mixers, writers and arrangers including Mac Quayle (Beyoncé, Madonna, Lindsay Lohan), Rob Chiarelli (Madonna, Janet Jackson. Will Smith), hit songwriter Alex Forbes, Ed Goldson (Jay Z, Eve), Dave Bianco (Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty) and Tommy James (Duke Ellington Orchestra), and has developed a catalogue of over 60 songs and tracks ranging from R&B to dance all available for licensing for TV, films, commercials and new media. Lisa has performed to audiences around the world with her original music, musical reviews and book shows making her a well-seasoned international writer and performer.

She was a featured singer and ‘sporting doll’ at the famous Monte Carlo Sporting Club on the French Riviera where she performed for the Royal family with a host of legendary stars such as The Gypsy Kings, Donna Summer, Tony Bennett and Shirley MacLaine, and has appeared on many Broadway shows including ‘Annie Get Your Gun’ with Reba McEntire and Tom Wopat at the Marquis Theatre, and later in the shows first U.S national tour starring Marilu Henner and Rex Smith, as well as Broadway’s ‘Sophisticated Ladies’, starring the Duke Ellington Orchestra, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and ‘Camelot’ amongst others.

Aside from her ability to perform live, her acting credits in film and television include the EMMY nominated TV series ‘Yes Dear’, multiple award winning TV show ‘Law and Order’ and the Oscar nominated movie ‘Donnie Brasco’ as well as several independent movies.

Lisa has been extensively trained in all areas of the performing arts, and has a dedicated passion to her music and acting, which has achieved exceptional excellence to date. She has studied and honed her craft in dance at the Washington School of Ballet, has studied voice with Carlo Menotti (Judy Garland, Laura Brannigan), Barry Levitt and Rona Leslie and has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Acting, Music and Dance to name a few.

Currently Lisa is living in Los Angeles where she is writing and recording her new album set to release early 2013.
